Onto Wyo we go!

June 5th
11:55 am & were jamming out and singing "You can whatever you like......" Alyson (who is driving of course, I am lucky and have not had to drive once!) gets excited and yells, "Yes, Carpool!!" we both look up at the sign that clearly says "DO NOT ENTER" and of course we are already on our way down..."shit what do we do!?" well we obviously can't reverse back onto the freeway, we are already headed down a ramp, she slows down as we come up to a tunnel...crap, what if we are going the wrong way...oh no, it's a fricking tunnell! We slow way down and Alyson stays to the complete right of the tunnel, going super slow hoping no cars come whipping around and nail us head on....thankfully we get out of the other end of the tunnel to god knows where, some parking lot with a ton of cars and we are weirdly in the bus lane. She pulls over, we are dying laughing out of being scared to death & then thinking its funny because thankfully we are alive....we are both shaking. Back onto I-80, clearly paying better attention and decide no more car pools. 1:15 pm we got into Wyoming, yes stopped and took pics of the sign obvi. Clearly looked ridic considering we have Wyoming plates and the other car taking pics was from North Carolina. 2:15 pm pulled off the Happy Jack exit to go for a hike through the mountains, realized once again the alititude was going to kick our ass when we could barely breath walking up the mountain...yes blaming EVERYTHING on the altitude. Went to dinner with my parents, brother and brothers girlfriend had a few glasses of wine, then went and met Dane (my brother) and Alexia's new addition to their family, there baby golden retriever Mason they just got, so freaking cute...I am an aunt haha! Went to Mingles with my family and played pool...yes blaming the altitude on not being able to make very many balls into the pockets, decided to just let the boys play (or maybe they just decided to kick us off there team) and we will continue to drink pitchers of Coors Light. Met up with my friends and went "downtown" Laramie haha which is not anywhere to close what one might picture as a downtown haha! Went to 3 different bars and after cutting in front a bunch of guys and using a urinal (since the girls bathroom line is waaaaay tooo long!), and watching everyone dance like "boom boom pow" lol Alyson and I called my mom. We told her not to let us get fast food, so we tried to eat in the kitchen...she ran out in her bathroom and kicked us downstairs with a few cans of peanuts; we did thank her the next day, prob top 10 funniest things I have seen with my mom! hahaha

June 6th
Woke up went on a walk, got coffee and met my cousin at Applebee's for lunch. Went home and got ready for the "night". Dane and Lex came over and we played drinking games before heading to my friend Kelly's Jester Party, it was a birthday mardi gras theme party. They had hop skip to drink which is beer, vodka and a lemonade mix...so good, if you are not careful this will get to you and you will not even realize you are drunk. After not knowing anyone and it being pretty awkard a few of us went out to the bars. Alyson decided she wanted to be a bouncer and started asking everyone for their ID's, while doing this she decided to go get us all drinks as the bartender asks "are you the one checking ID's?" "Yes, oops sorry." "Here these drinks are on me, please keep doing it. I can kick the guy out of your seat if you want!"-Bartender. "Okay!"-Alyson. She got pretty into it asking for peoples middle names, signs to be yelled at by a few people and some getting angry...prob time to go! Went to The Buck, another Laramie Bar...Justin bought us shots of Jack, "Yep see you tomorrow". Blame it on the Altitude. Left the bar at close, realized liquor stores were also closed....decided to use my parents beer cooler as a 2:30 am liquor store; there were 4 of us...myself, Alyson, Justin and his friend Glenn; Megan was our driver. I walk out with one case of Bud Light...Alyson yells at me no grab more. So I run in and grab another case of Coors light...we are Golden. Get to Justins house which turns in to 7th grade, literally hahaha leave at 4:30 am and yes each of us only might have drank 2 beers...we really didn't need 2 full cases lol
June 7th
My parents had a BBQ for all my family to come over and see me while I was in town, it's the easiest thing to do to get everyone together. Alyson and I were exhausted, glad when everyone left, made homemade pizza our first ever and watched a movie then hit the sack...so excited to be in bed.
June 8th
Lunch with my parents, brother, his girlfriend and Alyson...Mexican soooo good! Went bowling with everyone right after, bowled 3 games and had a high of 152 finally in the third game...yes that is the high of my life in bowling haha blaming that one on the altitude also, or maybe it was the lack of alcohol this time lol. Heading to Thermopolis tomorrow, the hot springs...super excited to swim in earth water then up to Yellowstone which I haven't seen since I was a little girl and can't wait!!

June 9th - 12th
On the road again with my mom as well as Alysondre up to Thermopolis, Yellowstone and Cody, Wyo. Supposed to leave at 8 a.m. of course didn't leave til 9. Stopped in Thermopolis first to go swimming in the hot springs...ground water to swim in. We felt like we were in 8th grade haha it was a great time! Went down the slide...alyson was going to kill me for making her go, the entire time down she was yelling "friend I don't wanna, get me out." What does she want me to do stop, and crawl through the top? haha After we left the hot springs we were driving to Cody for me to hear Alyson yell "Look at that Horse!!" I turned..."Thats a Cow!" "I am ashamed of myself." she replied hahaha and onto Cody. That night we went to pizza and a saw hungover, I am officially in love with Bradley Cooper; I think I might love him even more than Mark Wahlberg :) The next day we went to a Rodeo that night with my Aunt and little cousin; the first cowboy out of the chute was riding a bucking bronc and got stuck in the ropes; after he finally got out he had to be carried out of the arena, looked like he was hurt semi bad. We got made fun of a few times in a funny manner for our cool rainboots...I'm sure we looked ridic but we had a great time! June 11th went to Yellowstone, it was freezing! We got there finally after a 3 hr car ride and at 11:45 old faithful went off for the first time. We were to lazy to walk 3 miles to another scenic route so alyson, my cousin and myself just walked around and after 30 minutes decided we couldn't do it anymore so went and sat in the lounge area and watched old faithful go off for the 2nd time before my mom and her friend Doneen got back from there walk; glad we didn't go...we were tired from running and hiking the day before. I need coffee. I can't listen to history lessons. the day was really long...beautiful but long. 2:20 p.m. had to wait in 20 minutes of construction...serioulsy!? I need a nap. So far we have seen elk, buffalo, deer...a bear, aka a teeny tiny black dot on the side of the hill that a ton of people were pulled over to look at...seriously; where are these people from?? Driving out of the park Alyson spots a moose...it was huge! We turn around 3 times before we see it again and decide to go on a hike through the forest to find it. Over logs, over a lake and while doing this we look over and there my mom is hiking up the mountain to find the moose. No....we didn't see it again, it ran away...but the hike was fun in the meantime! 7:31 pm yes...still effing driving, had to go through Chief Joseph scenic drive which was 65 miles and took us 2.5 hours; as beautiful and gorgeous as it was we were so ready to be home...beyond ready that when we stopped again at a lookout Alysyon and I contemplated jumping off the cliff. We need Patron. Margaritas asap. 8 pm arrived back to our starting point...the mexican restuarant was looking better and better.......beyond amazing.

June 13th
Supposed to be packed and headed to South Dakota at 8 a.m. it is now 12:30 p.m. and we are finally getting on the road. Mom tried to tell us not to go out last night and to get our shit packed and together, but we didn't listen. After going to 3 bars, having my friend pick us up at closing then going to a friends house where we continued to play flip cup...she had to pick us up at 10 a.m.; after we went to bed at 5 a.m. this situation was not good. Lets just say we threw everything in the car and finally sobered up around 3 pm the rest of this day was the worst day in history and has been removed from both of our minds....if you wer with us you would understand what we went through. I choose not to think or talk about it :)
