12:21 finally on the road to Baltimore, had to get a later checkout since we woke up late and still couldn't move from barely sleeping the night before. And yes by later checkout we mean whenever we are ready, not on the hotels time but whenever we are ready. So as of now we are 21 minutes late from being checked out at the hotel and 3 hours late for Baltimore-go figure. It's freaking ridiculously hot outside right now, walking to the car and putting a few bags in it made me sweat a little.
1:10 we pass a sign that says "topless adult cafe" wtf really right now?
1:45 note to self, sports bras do not clean or soak up red bull spills in cupholders.
2:15 We hit 6,000 miles somewhere in North Carolina.
2:23 apparently in North Carolina you pass cars on the right side of the road and the slow cars drive down the left lane...really?!
3:00 We turn around after hitting the next border, we are determined to get the South Carolina sighn so we go back to t
he Welcome to North Carolina sign and attempted to change north to south by adding a S and a U. Alyson thought if she jumped high enough it would work to place the pieces of paper directly where they needed to be. First of all she is not 9ft tall nor can she jump 4ft to make this happen. haha back to Virginia.
6:23 Change of plans, DC now instead of Baltimore...why not right? Alyson's cousin Tim calls
us and says he is in DC for the night so we decide it would be fun; we will just go there then Baltimore the next day, it works!
8:00 Arrive to DC
9:17 FINALLY found parking after driving around everywhere w/ no clue where to go or what to do-literally everywhere. DC is the most confusing city to drive around in so far, out of all the cities we have drove in. There are a bazillion round abouts, one ways (which we went down a few haha), small streets, traffic, busses who do whatever & we couldn't find parking for the life of us....but besides all that DC is beautiful! A very safe city it seems for sure!
9:32 Omg hahaha just watching Alyson cross the street to a van to buy diet cloke on constitution avenue....reason being we are now parked, finally on a busy busy street...waiting for Tim to get done with his kickball game so we can meet up with him and all of his friends at the bars. We are getting ready in the car, getting dressed, make-up, brushing teeth & I ask Alyson if the Jack is easy to get to. She pulls it right from the back seat...perfect! Lets pre drink while we are waiting for your cousin because we have no clue where to go to meet him when he is done. This then leads to her walking across the street to get us diet coke. So here we are drinking our Jack and Coke dying laughing at how ridic I'm sure we look just chillin in the car with all of the people walking/driving by...oh man. Tim calls, we hail a cab. didn't realize we were that far away from where he told us, we are retarded.
June 26th
7:00 a.m. Wake up...can't move...have to hail a cab back to the car before it gets towed or ticketed. We can't move, can't talk...just feel like death. We get to the car, contimplate how we will survive today.
8:20 a.m. I am dead literally dead. no joke. my brain is coming out of my ears and eyes...its no longer in my head. I think this is what hell might actually feel like. After going out, have probably 30 $1 jello shots each, & then going back to Tim's friends house for us to crash for the night we continued to hang out (prob due to the numerous amounts of red bull consumed the prior day) and we were wide awake ready to hang out. Noah pulls out Guess Who...which is what we played until 4 in the morning which is why we feel the way we do right now.
8:30 a.m. After driving .8 of a mile we have to stop. We just can't right now. I tell Alyson to pull into this park thing we will lay down for a while. She says we will look homeless. I say "we will take a blanket and a few of the pillows and just lay down and sleep" Okay! Despite the pillows and blankets we did still look homeless. Everyone is out running, jogging with there families; it's beautiful weather out today! And here we are dying...in the middle of the grass next to the water, half sleeping half not...
10:22 a.m. finally back to life, after messing around in the water and just laughing about how ridic we are we decide it's prob time to get ready for the day...sweet right out of the car! Opened both car doors, and the trunk...found something to wear-check. fixed our hair-check. put on our faces-check. brushed our teeth-check. changed clothes again-check.
11:21 a.m. Now finally, finally headed to Baltimore. Alyson told Sonya we would be there by 10 or 11...figures.
11:27 a.m. Alyson jamming out to dixie chicks. "Theres your trouble, theres your trouble....la da da da da..." and facebooking I tell her "Alyson pull over, Pull over...Alyson friend pull over." "Why??" she asks "there is an ambulance right behind you with there sirens on." ....."oh Shit!".
1:30 p.m. Arrived in Baltimore in one piece still. Met Sonya, Alyson's best friend from home and I love her! She is so cute and sweet and super funny...we had such a great time with her! Met her roommates and friends who are awesome and fun as well! When we got there went to lunch and had a drink then back to the house to shower and get ready for the night which consisted of a pre drinking bar called Pickles and the Orioles game. Got crammed into the car and on the way...parked...and sweated the entire way to the bar. It was freaking hot outside...everyone was sweating just by being out there, omg Baltimore needed a very large fan in the air. When we got to the bar pickles we realized it wasen't a real bar. This thing was huge! It was like a very large street fair...the bar was inside and it had like 3 places to order drinks inside but the outside of it had beer tents and food tents all over...it was awesome! Went to the game...finally found our seats after having to ask the workers where our seats were. Sat...talked...talked...looked around...went to the bathroom...thought it was time to go. While exiting the stadium there was a man there w/ a Nascar (yes I kept calling it a nasa car haha) and Alyson decides to ask if she can sit in the seat of the car. Of course they let her. They give her a helmet, a name tag that says "john" and told her to pretend she was driving it. It was hilarous...the things this girl gets away with lol. The cop there was awesome as well...got pics with him and told him that if he sees a white chevy cobalt driving down the freeway speeding to tell his other cop friends not to pull us over. he just told us to be safe...and it worked i think we have not got pulled over once since then ;) knock on wood.
