Leaving Albany after recovering for a few days, unloading the car completely to make space then only re-loading it with the stuff we needed for the next week...kinda weird not to have a jam packed car where you turn around and there is a pillow, a hat or some peice of something poking you in the face haha. I even have feet room, nothing really on the floor board...not used to this, feel like a Queen lol. Off to Brooklyn for the 4th weekend and we even get to go to a Yankees game so excited! NOT that I like the Yankees but it's cool & fun to get to go to any baseball games in new cities!
12:46 pm We almost just died. Alyson decided to get out of the care while it was still in reverse and there I go backwards...thankfully she realized it and jumped right back in before we ended up who knows where.
1:10 pm after getting gas ran into grab an airfreshner due to us being dumbasses and leaving my sunroof wide open for a good 3 hours or so of pouring pouring rain the day before. Alyson's mom said she had never seen it rain so hard in Albany before...great just great...right into my car. So because of this yes it smelt like mildew :( but the air freshner cured that!
4:36 pm still on our way to brooklyn, kinda forgot about the traffic that would occur through the busy weekend......la de da.
6:23 pm OMG hahaha are we seriously driving through the streets of Manhattan right now...thank you GPS for taking us this direction. Funny thing is no one drives in lanes here, you just kind of drive...the only thing you have to watch out for is the front of your car. Seriously we are in China Town right now...seriously? New York Chinese Baptist Church? Where are we??? 
About this time a cop yelled at Alyson for who knows what and she just looked at him with her window down and yelled "Seriously I don't know what I am doing...I am from Wyoming!" haha thanks friend.

6:55 pm round and around we go, we are literally stuck in prospect park...there is no way out and we just keep going in circles...so many trees cant see anything, seriously?
7:15 pm finally get paked at Kristen's house and it starts pouring...awesome! So here we are just relaxing, laying back the fabulous recliners aka car seats with our feet up just watching it pour and all we can do is laugh because this would happen...watching the rain out the sky light, is is our life :)

Yankees game today! I don't know how in the world Alyson got me into a Yankees tshirt but she managed too...I still to this day don't know what drug I was on for that or what she was thinking, but it was awesome! The stadium is beautiful...but it was so hot, we were dripping sweat j

Happy 4th of July!!! I was excited for this day and ready for a calm fourth...the past few years have been insane and out of control and us being mature now on the east coast (hahaha) we thought t
his would be great. Woke up and was cutting apples and cheese to take to the park for a small picnic (never thought in my life I would be doing this lol). Alysons parents arrived and we had a few glasses of wine and sat around the table. Walked to the park for a brief second...contemplated making jello shots because we were just a bit confused by what was going on. Got back to the house made Margaritas, Perfect! Alyson and I decided to go on a walk to find more Tequila, so us being idiots decided it would be a good idea to take our Glasses of Margaritas with us, why not...we needed a little adventure. Bought the tequila and didn't get a bag...carried it in hand and plain sight down the streets and back to the house, so surprised we didn't get arrested or even a ticket...this is not San Diego. BBQ'd and watched the fireworks from the rooftop of Kristen's house, we 
saw about 12 different sets of fireworks from New Jersey to New York it was awesome and the sunset was out of control beautiful! 11 pm and time for bed, not sure when I turned into my parents ;)

Was supposed to head to Boston for the day but that didn't happen, just ended up in Rhode Island...the first place we were 2 hours early to. We learned not to be early either because we decide to sit at a restaurant and order food since we have not eaten all day...food turns into pitchers of John Daly's which then turn into ordering all drinks from the right side of the menu because we want to sample and taste them all...seriously Jake get home we can't spend anymore money...land your plane! One more pitcher or drink or whatever, we got to get out of here!
July 7th Leaving Rhode Island to go camping in Maine for the next 2 days!!!! We did forget to check the weather report, we figured if it was supposed to be nice in Brooklyn the entire east coast would be nice, I mean California is like that for the most part right?? We decided rain or shine we will go camping. We only have 2 thin blankets and 2 pillows, we weren't super prepared...but at least we have a tent and a lantern for light. If it's freezing we will just wear more sweats and sweatshirts...maybe hang out with Jack Daniels for warmth!
1:00 stopped at the Maine welcome center to find brochures or anything that says where we can go camping...we found a million sites and were so excited for the ones right on the beaches. OMG SERIOUSLY MAINE ARE YOU POURING RAIN RIGHT NOW. Guess Jake was right we should have checked the weather...we don't even have a tarp to lie down under our tent to protect from the wet groud...woops. We were told to get one of these but we didn't see the point...clearly we have no idea wtf we are doing.
2:04 after searching for 10 minutes we finally found enough change for only .35 cents to complete our $3.00 to pay the booth for parking so we can eat Maine lobster. We looked on the floor boards, front and back, in all the luggage bags. The trunk was our savior-quarters thank God! & yes seriously wtf is molding in my car in a little section between the seats...sick! I think it is chocolate that melted...cover it up we will deal with that later, gross!3:19 pm Leaving Main...the lobster was AWESOME! I have ate lobster before but never have had a full entire one with eyes & all brought to me and we are responsible for breaking it all up. We decided after we ate it all we would even try to put it back together...impossible...bu

5:24 pm DEAD END! seriously...dead end how did this happen the highway just ends...oh no!
5:26 pm turn around to get a pic of the sign, this has got to be a joke. where did we go wrong hahaha...Alyson lost the remote to the ipod palyer, hahahaha she cant' find it anywhere and it's so funny to watch her look everywhere. Yes I am just sitting here watching her look for it and laughing. I finally found it as she was putting the batteries in the lantern in hopes that would work.
5:40 pm back on track to the 101 West :)
6:43 pm "Is the 101 that way?"-Alyson "um...yes I think so"-Erin turns out it was a grocery store parking lot. Really right now?
7:26 pm Welcome to Vermont...okay great! now where do we camp? And now it's raining again...seriously? We have a tent but not tarp and just realized now we have no Hammer for the stakes to put our tent up...but at least we have a lantern right! haha Lets just keep driving and see where we end up 7,744 miles down.
7:47 pm Alyson Slams on the brakes of the car and yells "WOAH! WOAH! LOOK AT THAT MOOSE, IS THAT A REAL MOOSE!!!" I turn around and look and die laughing...it's a moose cut out of a flat pannel of wood...leaning on a tree, I am going to kill her....serioulsy! hahahah
7:49 pm I get a text message from Alexia (my brothers girlfriend) it's a pic of her wearing the engagment ring Dane had just bought for her....HE PROPOSED & THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!
7:55 pm We pull over to decide where to go camping we are looking at the map, alyson takes it and is looking for where Niagra Falls are. Keep in mind we are clear on the south east end of New York almost and Niagra Falls is on the border of Quebec and New York and she says lets go there. I say Alyson thats clear up there we are here. Oh. Okay she points again to another place "lets go here!" I tell her thats like 12 hours away she responds "it's only a few inches on the map" hahaha seriously right now I looke at her and laugh and tell her to give me the effing map she is no longer allowed to look at it.9:20 pm After find a place to camp we drive see a circus called yes 'cirucs smircus' and realize the place we are goign to camp is called Dircus...seriously no freaking way are we camping there...really right now hahaha We decide we will head to lake george in Utah to camp...we are done with these cirucses, rain and Vermont for now.
9:38 pm No big deal, pull over into a random parking lot, change clothes, get comfortable and I decide it's a good idea to clean whatever is molding out of the car, disgusting! Throw it all on the ground, thats gross! We organize the front seat...what are we doing?? Okay lets go.
11:04 pm finally we are in Lake George thank you for saving us! Can't wait to put up our tent!11:12 pm pull into the the camp ground the park ranger tells us we can't camp there it's too late and they are closed for the night. so we try 2 miles up the road where he tells us...nope closed. so we drive down the street back another direction to get closer to the lake it's a dead end, crap! Okay back down the road, turn again another way toward the beach....beach closed. OMG serioulsy what are we going to do. Lets just park grab our stuff and see where we can sleep.
We park the car, grab beers in our purse, each of us grab our blankets and our pillows...can't forget the lantern!!! We walk through a park, by a few bars find a few docks. find one that looks like no one will bother us. go behind a business building right on the lake and decide PERFECT! lay our pillows down, wrap up in our blankets...sit. open our beers pull our book of fun games turn the ipod player on. hear noises, are those voices? do you think people sleep on there boats? hear the boats hit against the docks...whats that?? OMG those spiders are huge! look at all the spider webs...really right now?? We see a patrol cop, lay down. After 2 hours of this we realize we are not going to get any sleep whats the point haha we might as well hack it up and drive the 50 miles to Albany. Grab our stuff head up to the car, realize road trip is time to be done and Albany is calling our name.
